A few days after we got back from China, we got to enjoy a little family reunion with some of J's family near Monterey...here's some pics of our fun little trip:
We went to Santa Cruz's Mystery Spot. It was my first time discovering some of the crazy things that it does to you. This is us standing "upright," but as you can see, we're hanging waaaaay over that table's edge.

Besides messing with your center of gravity, it does funny things to height differences too...This is J standing as the tallest person in this line ranging from 5'2" to 6'.
And this is the same line of people standing at opposite ends. They were all 5'2"!!

As a surprise for the trip, J's brother, Bryce, asked his sweetie to marry him in the Redwoods. Congrats and we're excited to have you in the family, Breanna!

My favorite part of the week was on the last day, when Uncle Marshal took us for a tour down the coast and we got to stop at Point Lobos. We ran all the way in and out through the rain to visit the spot where J asked me to marry him not so long ago...
We love this place, and as you can tell, the knees of the Hastings boys really like to hit the ground here in California! :)
